I always have clocks around me. I especially like atomic clocks that synchronize with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.time.gov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.time.gov<\/a> in Boulder, Colorado.<\/p>\n<p>Back in 2003, our local Walgreens ran a special on atomic clocks for about $20.00 each. At that time atomic clocks were not as easy to find as they are now (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/s\/ref=nb_sb_noss_1\/179-4244948-1470111?url=search-alias%3Dgarden&amp;field-keywords=atomic%20clock&amp;sprefix=atomi%2Cgarden&amp;rh=i%3Agarden%2Ck%3Aatomic%20clock\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">just research them on amazon.com and see how many come up)<\/a>. I ended up buying two of these clocks &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.beausanders.org\/uploads\/WalgreensAtomicClock701070.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Model #701070 Item #C17D1775<\/a>. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>About every two years I have to replace the two AA batteries in these clocks. I did not have the owner&#8217;s manual handy (it&#8217;s more like an owner&#8217;s instruction\u00a0 sheet), so I tried to find it on the web. No luck. After looking around in my stuff, I ended up finding one of my two original copies of the instructions tucked away in a box in a cabinet.
