I am a bit OCD when it comes to time. I always have clocks around me. I especially like atomic clocks that synchronize with www.time.gov in Boulder, Colorado.
Back in 2003, our local Walgreens ran a special on atomic clocks for about $20.00 each. At that time atomic clocks were not as easy to find as they are now (just research them on amazon.com and see how many come up). I ended up buying two of these clocks – Model #701070 Item #C17D1775.
About every two years I have to replace the two AA batteries in these clocks. I did not have the owner’s manual handy (it’s more like an owner’s instruction sheet), so I tried to find it on the web. No luck. After looking around in my stuff, I ended up finding one of my two original copies of the instructions tucked away in a box in a cabinet. Thank goodness!

I bought exactly the same clock at Walgreens many years, it was a Black Friday special offer.
I still have the clock in my living room but it stopped changing the time automatically since I moved in to this new area 2 years ago. I tried to leave it outside facing South and followed all the recommendations on the manual, but nothing worked. So, I have to set it manually twice a year when the day time changes. I also bought a smaller version from the same company. Both of them have the same problem. I do not blame the clocks since I believe that the problem is in the area where I live. My portable radio has issues also.
I have the manual for both of my clocks but I downloaded yours because it is a lot easier to read on my computer. The printing on the original sheet is so small that I always have to use a magnifier to read it.
I keep the manufacturer instructions for as long as I have the product. I have seen many times online, that someone is looking for a manual that I have but since I do not have a blog or a web page, I do not know how to help.

Hello Beau! Many thanks for the manual. I also bought this clock years ago at Walgreens and it has worked great. Recently, I changed the battery and I guess it reset the device and I could not figure out how to change the time zone from PST to EST, so after a while, it would update to the wrong time. The manual helped me fix that.

Beau, i’ve had this atomic clock for years and years, but I lost the manual long ago. I have not been able to set the time correctly or change the time zone for months. I couldn’t throw it away because it was a challenge. But it came close. I just now found your manual and fixed it. Thank you so much!!!
It’s currently January 2024, and I want to tell you that this post from 2013 helped so much today! My elderly dad has this same atomic clock, and I needed instructions for it to help reset it…but I couldn’t find them anywhere! Not until I found your post anyway. So thank you for being willing to share your .pdf of the instructions!
